Athens Information Technology (AIT), announces its 1st International Workshop on COMPact Antenna Systems, technology and applications (COMPASS 2011), which will take place at its premises on 01 March 2011.
The free to attend one day workshop brings together internationally-renowned experts in the area of compact and parasitic antenna arrays, an exciting wireless technology in which AIT has a strong research activity, supported by several research projects.
The workshop addresses both researchers in antennas and propagation / communication theory / wireless networks / related fields and the wireless industry, especially terminal equipment and chip manufacturers.
The program comprises a full day of technical presentations by experts in the field and experimental demonstrations. The workshop is hosted by AIT’s Broadband Wireless & Sensor Networks (B-WiSE) Research Lab and is sponsored by the EU-FET project CROWN.
