The Communication industry covers the converging sectors of telecommunications, broadcasting and Internet, generating a revenue of RM10 billion (2000) to 40billon (2009) in Malaysia.
Thus raising the issue on How it is effectively transforming the Malaysian society in achieving nation goals of global competitiveness and uplifting the quality of life of Malaysia citizens.
On 20 March 2010, the Malaysia Network will be hosting a Half Day Seminar in Communications.
Mr. Toh Swee Hoe from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission will give a presentation on “Communications and Multimedia Industry in Malaysia – it’s Status and Opportunity” and Prof. Dr. Lee Sze Wei from University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) will present on “Wireless Broadboad Access – An Overview of Multiple Access Techniques”
