We thank you for your interest in the Consultants’ Network. The recent Technical and Professional Network (TPN) portfolio review, which included consultation with the wider IET membership, recognised that the network has an active online community who engage through the Consultants Exchange email network.
It was, however, identified by the Board of Trustees that the strengths of this network could be better served under a new operating model within the IET. A committee of members representing a number of cross-sector TPNs is now working on a proposal for how this model might work.
On completion this will form part of a wider consultation with our members as to how we can support cross sector communities.
This decision affects only the network and will not impact the IET’s coverage of this subject through other areas of the organisation. If you are a consultant or interested in becoming a consultant you may be interested in:
