The Radar, Sonar and Navigation Network is the gateway to a dynamic community of engineers with an interest in the concept, research, development, design, performance assessment and operation of radar, sonar and navigation systems for applications on land, under the sea, in the air or in space.
In addition to this are areas looking into appropriate supporting technologies including antenna design, signal processing, communications, propagation, information processing and display and optical techniques, forms of interference, natural or intentional and their alleviation, systems management and control, hardware and software systems control as well as the sensing of the ocean with radar, sonar and navigation within and on the surface of the ocean.
How to join
To join this Network you must register on the IET website.
Registration is free to all visitors, and enables you to use our discussion forums, post comments on articles and blogs, and join the Contacts Network to locate and send messages to other professionals.
Membership of the IET entitles you to a range of further benefits, including access to premium content (when enabled).
